Tilly's Styling Tips
I absolutely love this Spring/Summer collection, and I’ve picked my top three looks to showhow I would style them for the season ahead.
My first pick is the striped dungarees, the perfect piece for an effortless yet playful weekend look.
As someone who is constantly running after a toddler, I love having pieces that are easy to throw
on while still feeling considered and stylish. I would wear them layered over a simple white long-
sleeve tee or a lightweight knit for everyday ease. For a slightly more feminine feel, I love styling
them with the white linen Edwardian shirt and a simple pair of ballet flats.

My second look features the Olivia jacket, which is a beautiful new addition to the Kate Barton
collection. I love the relaxed boxy shape and wide sleeves, which give it such an effortless feel. It
works perfectly worn fully buttoned as a shirt or layered open over a crisp white T-shirt. I’m
particularly drawn to gingham this season, so I’ve paired the jacket with the Workwear trousers
for an easy summer look. The Workwear trousers are such a flattering and versatile shape that
they’re well worth investing in across multiple colours, they quickly become a wardrobe staple.
The navy creates a more coordinated matching-set feel, while the burgundy offers a richer, more
contemporary colour-blocked look.

Lastly, I always love a linen suit, especially as we move into summer season. It’s one of those
timeless looks that can easily be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. I’ve styled this
suit with the Gingham Edwardian shirt, as I mentioned, I’m loving gingham this season to keep
the look relaxed and effortless. For a dressier occasion, I would pair it with a simple silk blouse
or camisole, finished with a heeled espadrille or classic ballet flat. This colour is incredibly
versatile and works beautifully with softer pastel shades throughout the season.
