Inspo for the Big Day...
Wedding Belles!
This June, two of our fabulous team members are getting married, just days apart. We do love a bit of wedding inspo and it certainly is the season to tie the knot. Both now on the home straight, we asked Tamsyn & Jess to share their plans for the big day, any top tips and what's going in the honeymoon suitcase...
TAMSYN
Location
"We wanted to celebrate where we live - a little village called Beauworth in Hampshire. The church is a one minute walk from the house and our lovely neighbours have kindly lent us their alpaca field for the reception."
TAMSYN
Style
"We're (trying) to bring a little bit of Italian pizzazz to an English countryside wedding. There won't be a morning suit in sight - Ben is in a sand coloured two piece. Picture a jazz duo, in the sun (hopefully!), with an aperol spritz in hand (definitely!)"
TAMSYN
Colours
"I want colour and flowers everywhere! Peonies are my absolute favourite and I timed my wedding around when they should be at their best. I plan to forage in our local woods and fill the marquee with colour. Theme-wise we have lots of pinks and orange. I've adored working with a local based mother/ daughter florist, Claudia and B - they are fabulous.."

The Honeymoon Suitcase
"For our Italian road trip, I'll have the Easy Trousers in all colours - perfect for exploring. I'll also have The white Linen Vest, white Workwear Trousers and the matching Workwear Waistcoat. The Rosie dress in white (of course!) is definitely coming with us too."

Top Tips
"Everyone always says it but it's so true - think about what you both want and no one else. It's easy to get carried away and forget the real reason why you are celebrating. My biggest frustration has to be my disorganisation. We got engaged 2 years ago, but I've left it all to the last minute!"
JESS
Location
"We've decided to tie the knot in Saintes in France. Will and I are adventurers, so a destination wedding felt right for us both. We really wanted an intimate affair, a departure from the long guest lists we'd have in the UK."
JESS
Style
"Relaxed with a hint of 'French Riviera', our invite states 'a touch of linen.' I’m actually not wearing a traditional wedding dress, it’s very elegant, floaty and I’ll most likely be barefoot! I will also be doing my own hair and makeup - could be a disaster!"
JESS
Colours
"Wildflowers and lavender. On my travels I picked up some gorgeous block print tablecloths from Jaipur, we will use these on long wooden tables, with colourful ribbon attached to our chairs."
JESS
The Honeymoon Suitcase
"Our honeymoon plans are flexible, but we're possibly looking at doing a road trip in our camper van, maybe to northern Spain with our daughter. Attire wise, my bag will be firmly packed with the following (wherever we end up going!) - The Rosie dress in white, Sophia dress in Botanica, The White Linen Vest and the Palazzos in white."
JESS
Top Tips
"To keep costs down, we're driving to France in our camper van, loaded with wedding essentials. If that's not your style, I highly recommend considering a wedding planner for your destination wedding. Navigating the language barriers has been tricky, but I'm eternally grateful to the invaluable help provided by our villa owners.
