Social Media Coordinator
We are a fast-growing womenswear brand, seeking a creative Social Media Coordinator to join our team at Kate Barton. Our office is based in Petersfield, Hampshire, occasional visits will be required.
Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing our social media strategy, increasing online presence, and engaging our target audience across various platforms. They will play a crucial role in building brand awareness, driving traffic, identifying growth opportunities, creating content, and enhancing our overall digital marketing efforts.
1. Social Media Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social
media strategy aligned with overall business marketing goals.
- Identify target audiences and create engaging content tailored to each platform.
- Meta Business experience preferred, not essential.
2. Content Creation
- Generate high-quality, creative, and shareable content for all social media channels - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Collaborate with the team to produce visually appealing graphics, images, and videos.
- Customer communication creatives, i.e.. Newsletters.
3. Community Management:
- Monitor social media channels for brand mentions and engage with the audience promptly – respond to questions.
- Foster and maintain relationships with influencers – organising deliveries.
4. Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilise analytics tools to track social media performance, analyse key metrics, and provide regular reports to evaluate
the effectiveness of posts.
- Make data-drive recommendations to optimise social media strategies.
- Monthly reports to the team
5. Campaign Execution:
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging social media platforms to ensure the brand stays ahead of the curve.
6. Customer Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media platforms in a professional and timely manner.
- Escalate customer issues to the appropriate departments when necessary.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Social Media coordinator or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative content ideas.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Experience with paid social media advertising is a plus.
- Some office-based hours in Petersfield are required, so flexibility is a must.
We anticipate this role requiring approximately 2.5 days per week (across the week). Please note the work will need to be spread across 5 days to ensure ongoing communication and timely responses to our customer.
